Fine Art

Limited Edition Artwork

My work is available as limited edition fine art prints on selected papers, acrylic mounted, or using the ChromaLuxe technique to produce very durable prints.
Fine Art prints are normally made to order, but a selection is readily available for purchase on my webshop.

Fine Art Paper prints

I produce my Fine Art Paper prints on an Epson Surecolor SC-P800 Inkjet printer using 9 different Ultrachrome inks on selected fine art papers from Hahnemühle, Canson and Moab. After drying, the prints are protected with a special varnish and framed.

ChromaLuxe

ChromaLuxe is a dye sublimation method where the inks are infused into specially coated aluminium plates.

This results in razor-sharp images, super brilliant colors and intense blacks.

ChromaLuxe prints are also very lightweight, yet extremely resistant to UV, scratches, etc…

I have my ChromaLuxe prints produced by Colorfields in Brussels, previously known (and renowned) as Labo J.J. Micheli.

Acrylic mount (Diasec, Diachrome)

Acrylic mount is another method where the images are printed on high quality papers (Canson, Epson, …) and bonded to acrylic sheets using special glues, to produce very high quality and durable exhibition-grade fine art prints.

The light penetration and the refraction of clear acrylic produces high image definition, brilliant colors and a fine detailed texture.

For my acrylic-based fine art prints, I work with Art Factory, a specialised producer based south of Brussels, and Authentic, also based in Brussels. Authentic holds an official Diasec licence.

Limited editions

Unless otherwise specified, each photograph will be limited to 30 prints, across all print types (fine art paper, Chromaluxe, Acfylic, …) and dimensions. Each print is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, stating the print method used, the total number of the limited edition, the sequence of the print in the limited edition, and the number of Artist’s Proofs.

In addition to the limited edition, up to three Artist’s Proofs (AP) may also be produced of each photograph. Though Artist’s Proofs are not part of the limited edition, and are meant to be kept by myself (E.g. for exibition purposes), they may possibly be sold as well.

When an editions runs out, the master photograph will not be destroyed and may further be used for other purposes such as licensing.
